    Application Period for 2025-2026 Winter Season of the Connecticut Energy Assistance Program is Open See OPTIONS here

    Energy Assistance- Income eligible households at risk of going without heat during the winter may apply for Connecticut Energy Assistance or the Contingency Heating Assistance Program. Programs provide deliverable fuel and also replace inoperable heating systems or repair, clean, tune and test systems.     TAX COLLECTOR’S NOTICE All persons liable to pay taxes to the Town of Union are hereby notified that I have a warrant to collect a tax of 23.68 mils on a dollar on the Grand List of October 1, 2024. The second payment of Real Estate and Personal Property taxes and the Motor Vehicle Supplemental List taxes are due and payable January 1, 2026.
