Application Period for 2024-2025 Winter Season of the Connecticut Energy Assistance Program is Open

Energy Assistance– Income eligible households at risk of going without heat during the winter may apply for Connecticut Energy Assistance or the Contingency Heating Assistance Program. Programs provide deliverable fuel and also replace inoperable heating systems or repair, clean, tune and test systems.

There is also a Town of Union General Assistance Fund available for any residents facing hardship or in need of assistance.
