Union awarded $400,000 STEAP Grant

UNION AWARDED STEAP GRANT Small Town Economic Assistance Program (STEAP), a state program managed by the Office of Policy and Management (OPM), has awarded Union a $400,000 grant for the reconstruction of Webster Road.

Veterans Day Observance, Friday, November 10, 2023

Join our Veterans Day Observance Ceremony on Friday, November 10 at 10:00 AM at the Town Green on Buckley Highway On Friday, November 10, the Town of Union will be holding a ceremony in honor of our veterans. The Union School students will be participating, along with other Town officials. Application Period for 2023-2024 Winter Season of the Connecticut Energy Assistance Program Begins on September 1

Energy Assistance- Income eligible households at risk of going without heat during the winter may apply for Connecticut Energy Assistance or the Contingency Heating Assistance Program. Programs provide deliverable fuel and also replace inoperable heating systems or repair, clean, tune and test systems.
