UNION250

In 2026, the United States will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the founding of the country. 

Everyone can be a part of the CT250 TOWN OF UNION celebration and events!
We will be meeting the 3rd Monday of each month at 6:00 PM in the Community Room.

MONDAY, June 15 at 6:00 PM – Planning Meeting in the Community Room.

PLEASE JOIN US!

There will be a few fundraisers scheduled to help cover expenses for our town events. The Town has also established an account for accepting donations. If you would like to help sponsor these events for 2026, checks payable to Union250 can be mailed or dropped off at the Selectman’s Office.

Sons of the American Revolution will present a Ceremony
at the Union Town Hall to dedicate the Liberty Tree
planted in honor of the Revolutionary War Heroes

JULY 4, 9:00 AM at Center Cemetery
Reading of the Declaration of Independence
Refreshments will be available
A copy of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence will be available for all attending

JULY 16, 6:30 PM at the Town Hall Community Room

August 15, Old Home Day Commemorating America250!
