America’s 250th Anniversary Commemorative Medallion Union, CT The Union, CT, America’s 250th Anniversary Committee commissioned Commemorative Medallions to be made to memorialize America’s 250th Anniversary. “Hayes Pressed Glass” was commissioned to make the commemorative medallions. 100 Medallions were purchased by the Town of Union, 71 of which have been sold. Only 29 medallions remain in stock; 18 Blue, 9 Red, 2 Green.  Additional medallions will not be commissioned. Medallions can be purchased at Union Town Hall or the Union Library for $40 each.

Energy Assistance- Income eligible households at risk of going without heat during the winter may apply for Connecticut Energy Assistance or the Contingency Heating Assistance Program. Programs provide deliverable fuel and also replace inoperable heating systems or repair, clean, tune and test systems. Pets in Need Application

Come join the Union Committee on Aging while we learn how to make a Zentangle drawing. Tuesday, September 15, 10 AM Town Hall Community Room This will be a  simple, relaxing, fun, and creative exercise.  No experience or specific artistic skills needed. There will be time to socialize with other Union residents.  Refreshments will be served. All are welcome and we hope to see you!
