The hearing was called to order by Board of Finance Chair Christopher Santucci at 7:04 pm. Members present: Christopher Santucci, Joseph Cross, and Chuck Singer. Also present was First Selectman Dave Eaton.
The members reviewed the Revenue, Expenditure and Vendor History Report; Fraud, Risk Management, Internal Controls and Town Policies; future planning; and the Annual Town Report.
The members discussed with the First Selectman Dave Eaton various issues concerning the budgets for fiscal year 2019-20. Dennis Sienna joined the meeting in progress. 
The First Selectman Dave Eaton requested that funds to refurbish one of the town trucks be allocated $65,000 from capital and non-recurring. The request will be added to the proposed budget for fiscal year 2019-20. It was noted that it will have no effect on taxes levied as the funds will be from the capital account. The members are also reviewing a potential request to the town to increase the cap on the Capital and non-recurring account to $500,000 to keep pace with current economics.
April meeting and hearing dates were set.
A motion was made by Dennis Sienna to adjourn at 7:57 pm. Dennis Sienna seconded the motion. The motion was carried.
