Communication Committee Minutes

CALL TO ORDER:

The meeting was called to order at 1:08 pm.

The committee discussed potential methods of enhancing school and board communications

with the following focus: 

1. Enhancing and expanding the current website to incorporate teacher pages/activities/videos, administrative practices/updates, and quarterly updates from the Board of Education.

    

2. Electronically formatting standing policies and updating and adopting recent State Board of Education polices, making all polices available for public access via the school website. 

    

3. Development of an advisory committee consisting of parents, staff and students.  Focus on role/emphasis of social emotional learning, goals, instructional delivery, role of technology, distance learning, social justice and environment (climate change, etc.) during and after Covid-19.

    

4. ADJOURNMENT
