Call to order: The meeting was called to order at 6:38 p.m. by Andrea Estell.

- Scheduling additional early dismissal days in October, November and December.
Principal/Superintendent S. Jackopsic reported that students and staff continue to be off to a good start. The scheduled half days are working well to allow staff discussions and development. Proposal to add the following half days: October 9, 16 and November 6, 13. Switch to Fridays to avoid conflicts with Woodstock Academy schedule.
Motion to adopt and accept the changes by L. Roberts, seconded by A. Blank. Passed unanimously.
- Position discussion-PE, Music
S. Jackopsic would like to explore the possibility of hiring a permanent substitute for the year for PE, incorporating Foreign Language, and the school nursing staff to cover Health. Suggested meeting next week to discuss options with the Curriculum Committee.
- BOE/Staff 20-21 focus area discussion.
S. Jackopsic presented an overview of Returning to a “New” School. Board and school staff provided feedback on how things are going and prioritizing how we continue to move forward.
- Policy update/adjustments
S. Jackopsic reported that updates have been sent to staff and parents. The updates are minor and our practices continue to align with our policies.
Motion to amend Reopening/Operations set forth by A. Blank, H. Bradway seconded the motion. Unanimously adopted.
Andrea Estell announced that J. Petersen has formally resigned. The vacancy is
open and the position will continue until the May elections.
Motion by L. Roberts to adjourn at 8:03 p.m. H. Bradway seconded the motion. The motion unanimously carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:03 p.m.
