DESCRIPTION:Town of Union\nOffice of the First Selectman\n1043 Buckley Highway\, Union\, Connecticut 06076\nPhone: 860 684-3812                  Fax: 860 684-8830\nfirstselectman@unionconnecticut.org\n“This institution is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer” \nINVITATION TO SUBMIT PROPOSAL \nTown of Union \nProject name:  Transfer Station Building Project: 12’ X 70’ recyclables building \n1024 Buckley Highway\, Union\, CT \nThe Town of Union will receive proposals for the above-named project until\, but no later than\, 7:30 p.m.\, EST\, November 7\, 2022\, in the Office of the First Selectman\, Town of Union\, 1043 Buckley Highway (Route 171)\, Union\, Connecticut\, 06076\, at which time all proposals will be reviewed and discussed. \nThe work generally consists of the building of a 12’ X 70’ recyclables building.  Price to include all materials and labor. Excavation and filling will be completed by Public Works Department. \nWork to be completed by January 31\, 2023. \nInterested parties may obtain plans and drawing\, in paper form or electronically\, by contacting the Selectmen’s Office at firstselectman@unionconnecticut.org\, 1043 Buckley Highway\, Union\, CT  06076. Or the Public Works Garage at 860-684-4706. \nThe Town of Union reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or proposals; to waive any technicality in any proposal or part thereof\, and to accept any proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Union.
