DESCRIPTION:CTDOT Construction Advisories \nBridge Maintenance on I-84 in Willington and Union between exit 69 and the Massachusetts state line. \nThe Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that an overnight bridge maintenance project will be performed on Interstate 84 in Willington and Union. \nThe project DOT0171-0452CN consist of bridge joint repair on I-84 Eastbound/Westbound between exits 69 and the Massachusetts state line in Willington & Union.  This project is scheduled to begin bridge joint repair by Dynamic Surface applications LTD at a cost of $235\,868.00 the night of Sunday September 11\, 2022\, through the morning of Friday September 30\, 2022. \nThis project is administered by the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Bridge Maintenance\, District 1 in Hartford. \nLANE CLOSURE INFO/DETOUR INFO \nMotorists can expect two lane closures on I-84 eastbound and westbound between exits 69 and the Massachusetts border in Willington and Union.  The work schedule for this project is Sunday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
