Agenda

1. Call to order- The meeting was called to order at 6:10 p.m. by A. Estell.

Attending- A. Estell, A. Blank, R. Fischetti, E. Fournier, Sup./Prin. S. Jackopsic, M. Powers, Rec. Sec. Others attending- D. Eaton, N. Caruso

2. Old Business

a. Staff vaccine policy 2nd reading- Reading was completed by members. No questions or concerns at this time.

3. New Business

a. Teacher and Administrator Evaluation and Professional Learning Plan and CSDE meeting flexibilities- Sup./Prin. Jackopsic reported that he has worked with the teachers’ union in reviewing the plan flexibilities which has a focus on SEL. A timeline has been mapped out for the components of the evaluation plan. The CSDE is working on revising the current evaluation system.

A. Blank made a motion to adopt the Teacher and Administrator Evaluation and Professional Learning plan with the CSDE’s flexibilities. E. Fournier seconded the motion. The motion unanimously carried.

b. 2022 meeting schedule- Members reviewed the new schedule. A. Blank made a motion to accept the 2022 meeting schedule. R. Fischetti seconded the plan. The motion unanimously carried.

4. BOE member orientation- Nick Caruso from CABE spoke and gave a PowerPoint presentation about the roles and responsibilities of board members.

5. Individuals to be heard-none

6. Adjournment- Motion by E. Fournier to adjourn at 7:58 p.m. R. Fischetti seconded the motion. The motion unanimously carried.

The meeting adjourned 7:58 p.m.
