The May 5, 2021 meeting was called to order via ZOOM and in person at 7:30 p.m. by M. Silbermann.
Minutes from 4/21/2021 were reviewed and approved.
Mr. & Mrs Wass of 990 Buckley Hwy attended the meeting. They had received a letter from M. Kneeland, ZEO regarding something being built on their property. They submitted an application for a 10 x 10 plywood platform for a temporary screen house off the back of their existing home. They are within all the boundaries. B. Kapplan made a motion to waive fee as it is for a medical reason, seconded by B. Lambert. The regulations do not address this. L. Fitzgerald made a motion to approve application, seconded by B. Kapplan. Permit #21007 issued.
Mike Kneeland submitted an application for activity in a wetland area on Buckley Hwy across for the State DOT. This application was accepted by the commission and will be addressed at the next meeting. He was advised to have the wetlands flagged. There are concerns by both the commission and the neighboring land owners.
Mr. Joseph Orefice of 18 Old Barrow Rd attended the meeting. L. Fitzgerald indicated that Sec. 2.01.03b allows for roadside stands for more than 6 months. Permit #21007 was amended to reflect the change to his permit issued 4/21/2021.
The POCD was discussed. The date for the hearing was postponed.
There was no ZEO report.
L. Fitzgerald made a motion to adjourn, seconded by B. Kapplan. Meeting adjourned at 8:33 pm.
