Union Free Public Library News
~ REMINDER: Union Library is OPEN! Patrons will need to observe posted social distancing guidelines, such as wearing masks in the building.
~We continue to offer curbside pickup as well, which you may do by reaching a librarian at 860--684-4913 (feel free to leave a message after hours) or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
In addition, the interlibrary loan system should be back up and running by this time as well. If we do not have a book in stock, we may order it from another location. All CT libraries are observing quarantining and disinfecting protocols for books and other circulating materials.
Our hours are: Monday 1-5 pm, Wednesday 2-8 pm, and Saturday 9 am -2 pm.
We look forward to seeing you!
Through your Union Library card, you have access to free downloadable eBooks, audiobooks, tv shows, and movies, through a platform called Hoopla.
We have increased the number of checkouts that each library patron is allowed per month from 5 to 10. We encourage Union students and their families to use this resource as they practice social distancing and staying healthy at home.
To access this resource, they will need their 14-digit library card number and an email account. If that number is not available to them, or they need further instruction about how to set up access, they may reach out to library staff via our email account email@example.com, or by leaving a message at 860-684-4913.
