Selectmen’s Meeting February 3, 2020 Union, Connecticut
First Selectman Eaton called the meeting to order at 7: 30 p.m.
Attending: Selectmen – David D. Eaton, David Heck, Mary Huda
Persons to be Heard: None
Minutes from the January 21, 2020 meeting were read. Selectman Huda made a motion to accept the minutes as read; seconded by Selectman Heck. Vote was unanimous.
Bills were presented for review. Selectman Heck made the motion to pay the bills as presented; seconded by Selectman Huda. Vote was unanimous.

Consider other projects: possibly school oil tank pumps
PW Dir. Eaton will work with school on overseeing mechanical systems at Union School.
Discussion regarding T.S. improvements with STEAP grant.
The Board discussed the policy requirements for obtaining Transfer Station Permits. “The applicant for a permit must have a valid vehicle registration indicating a Union address, or the applicant must own real estate in the Town of Union.” Per Town of Union Transfer Station Rules and Regulations, Sec.1b.
Old Business:
The NECCOG Animal Control service that is available to member towns was discussed by the Board. Re-Certification has been filed by ACO.
Review and editing of Selectmen’s Working Budget Spreadsheet.
Motion to adjourn at 9:05 p.m. by Selectman Heck; seconded by Selectman Huda. Vote was unanimous.
